I have worked in the HR Field for 25+ years, as an HR Leader, Recruiter, Consultant and Career Coach, supporting various industries, such as non-profit, manufacturing, engineering, healthcare, government/military and higher education. I owned my own HR consulting and career coaching business before transitioning to working for a national non-profit supporting social justice. The entrepreneurial bug hit me again, inspiring me to start my own LLC, providing strategic HR, coaching and mediation support for non-profits who are working hard to make this world a better place.
I am also an adjunct professor in the HR and business management realms, coaching and mentoring business students. I created HR curriculum for the first-ever Human Resources Management Program at Maryville University and assisted with formulating the courses online.
I retired from the military in 2018 as a Major, where I worked in personnel and health administration in the Illinois Air National Guard.
Supporting my love for learning, I received a Master's in Business Management and Leadership and a Master's in HR Development from Webster University. I am also a certified mediator through Cornell University.
